This is. a cognitive behavioral (cbt) form of therapy. If you change theway you think then you can change your life. Epictetus, a first century Stoic philosopher, said “Men are disturbed not by things, but of the view which they take them.” Irrational beliefs in REBT are replaced by rational beliefs through the counseling process.Self talk or internal verbalizations are often negative thoughts that should be changed. Simply put, change the way you think and change your life.
